Suzhou Hezhan Zhaofeng (H&Z) Law Firm, as a result of the merger between two law firms originally known as Suzhou Hezhan Law Firm and Suzhou Zhaofeng Law Firm, is a large partnership law firm with more than 20 professional full-time, part-time and assistant lawyers, 5 of whom are senior partner lawyers. Currently, the law firm owns an office of 500m2, and has achieved an overall modernization in office administration, transport and communication. H&Z is by far the largest and the strongest law firms in Suzhou. It is entitled by the Ministry of Justice and the Board of Securities Supervision to the engagement in legal affairs of securities business, i.e. it has the qualification to issue legal opinions for listed companies.

All professional lawyers in H&Z have received formal advanced legal education in China's first-class universities (or institutes). They all hold a Bachelor's degree in law or above, and have long been engaged in economic legal businesses affecting a broad range of fields.
